Mission Valley

Mission Valley is adjacent to many important communities of San Diego, with Clairemont Mesa and Linda Vista to the North, Mission Bay to the West, El Cajon to the East, and Hillcrest to the South. This "hub-like" structure ensures that the area remains desirable for young renters and landlords seeking stellar cap-rates from relatively modest investments, as young tenants are always seeking a home within this exciting community.

While automotive transport is recommended for San Diego, residents of Mission Valley can opt to rely on its reliable and safe Metropolitan Transport System (MTS), which accesses many important areas by trolley such as the University of San Diego, Fashion Valley, and San Diego State University. Furthermore, street parking is usually available, and roads are generally wide and well-kept.

Clairemont Mesa, Linda Vista

North of Mission Valley are the communities of Clairemont Mesa and Linda Vista, which serve as the unofficial "Chinatown" and "Little Saigon" of San Diego. A few minutes' drive north on the 805 freeway will bring you to Convoy Street of Clairemont Mesa, which features as wide a selection of asian restaurants and shopping as one would expect from a major cosmopolitan city. A short drive eastward then brings you to Linda Vista, which harbors a growing Vietnamese community and a major hospital center of San Diego, Sharp Memorial.

Located south of Mission Valley is Hillcrest, which contains the UCSD Medical Center and a thriving gay community among many hipsters and aspiring artists. While many buildings in the area are historic and aged, young residents love the area for its charming atmosphere, abundant night-life and freedom of self-expression. A local favorite is "Extraordinary Desserts," which serves outstanding sweets to brighten anyone's day.
